Work With Me

I work with organisations, educators, and institutions who want to strengthen how people think, decide, and judge in complex situations.

My work focuses on practical critical thinking. Not as an abstract academic subject, but as a set of skills people can actually use – in leadership, teaching, learning, decision-making, and everyday professional life.

1) Critical Thinking Training

I design and deliver training that helps people:

  • Think more clearly
  • Reason more carefully
  • Evaluate evidence more effectively
  • Make better, more defensible decisions

Training can be delivered as:

  • Half-day or full-day workshops
  • Short programmes over time
  • Embedded sessions within existing leadership, professional development, or education programmes

All training is bespoke. I don’t offer off-the-shelf courses. Instead, I work with you to understand:

  • Who the learners are
  • The contexts they’re working in
  • The kinds of decisions, judgements, or challenges they face

This applies equally to organisations and education settings.

Examples include:

  • Leadership and management development
  • Staff training in organisations and public bodies
  • Professional development for teachers and lecturers
  • student-focused critical thinking sessions at different levels

2) Consultancy & Programme Design

In some cases, organisations and institutions want more than training or assessment alone.

I offer consultancy support to help you:

  • Embed critical thinking into existing programmes
  • Design new programmes or curricula
  • Create resources that support ongoing development
  • Align critical thinking with your organisational or educational goals

This might include:

  • Programme design and review
  • Curriculum development
  • Creation of bespoke learning materials
  • Long-term advisory support

3) Critical Thinking Assessments

Many critical thinking assessments on the market are generic and one-size-fits-all. They often assess skills that aren’t relevant to your context, or miss the ones that matter most.

I design bespoke critical thinking assessments that are built around:

  • Specific skills (and sub-skills)
  • Relevant subject or professional contexts
  • Different levels of development, from beginner to advanced
  • Real-world application, not abstract exercises

Assessments can be used for:

  • Recruitment or selection
  • Staff or student development
  • Programme evaluation
  • Follow-up after training

They can also be combined with training and development work.

4) Speaking & Keynotes

I’m regularly invited to speak at conferences, events, and internal programmes for organisations and education audiences.

My talks focus on:

  • Critical thinking and decision-making
  • Clarity of judgement in complex environments
  • The relationship between critical thinking and creativity
  • The impact of AI on human thinking and judgement

Talks should be tailored for:

  • Leadership audiences
  • Educators and academic settings
  • Mixed professional groups

Trusted by organisations and institutions worldwide

From schools and universities to commercial organisations and public bodies, I’ve supported clients across multiple countries through training, assessment, and programme design.
